Endoderma, a bio-venture company affiliated with Naturalendo Tech, obtained a double-functionality approval for its micro patches from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in September.
The approval is given to the company's double-functional cosmetics as it has been proven that a single patch can trigger simultaneous effects of wrinkle improvement and skin whitening. Endoderma's micro patches use cross-linked hyaluronic acid (CLHA), its patented technology, so that its cosmetics can penetrate the skin more easily than ordinary cosmetics. At the same time, the skin solution rate is so high that active components, which are good for skincare and health, can be delivered effectively.
According to the clinical results of Endoderma's products, the melanin index began to drop at a statistically significant level two weeks after use, proving their skin whitening effect. The wrinkle index also decreased at a statistically significant level.
Endoderma said it will continue to develop patch materials with stem cells and algae ingredients, which are effective for skincare and health. The company will also team up with leading domestic and global companies and organizations to take the lead in new fields such as biomarker sensing and digital patches.
"We will carry out various functionality evaluations step by step following our latest acquisition of the double-functionality approval," Endoderma CEO Bae Sang-yoon said.
