Korea Ginseng Corporation's ginseng brand, CheongKwanJang, signed an official license contract with Tottenham Hotspur F.C. and introduced the soccer team's edition of its popular red ginseng product, "Everytime," the company said Tuesday.
CheongKwanJang's Everytime Tottenham Edition is a special version that applies the football club's official emblem on the packaging of the company's bestselling "Hong Sam Jeong Everytime." It includes photo cards of Tottenham's key players such as Song Heung-min, Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris and Dejan Klusevsky that can be collected.
There is also a raffle ticket enclosed in the product and customers can apply for the lottery by entering the ticket number on the company's event page online. The prizes are a package tour to England and another edition of an Everytime product.
CheongKwanJang also prepared various mobile phone games in time for the launch of the Everytime Tottenham Edition.
The penalty shoot-out game, "Everytime Finger Shooting Game," and "Vigor Match Prediction Game," where customers can try predicting World Cup match results. Anybody who participates in either of the two will receive discount e-coupons that they can use on CheongKwanJang's internet shopping website.
"We launched the Everytime Tottenham Edition product to enjoy soccer games with our customers ahead of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. CheongKwanJang supports the Korean national football team along with team captain Son, who currently plays for Tottenham in the English Premier League," a CheongKwanJang official said.
Everytime Tottenham Edition can be purchased at CheongKwanJang's store and from its online shop as well as at department stores across the country.
