A total of 473 studio apartments will be up for sale in the Hillstate apartment complex in Daejeon, according to builder Hyundai Engineering & Construction (E&C), Wednesday.
The Hillstate Yuseong complex will house four 26-story buildings that each have three underground parking facilities in Yuseong District, the largest and most commercially busy district in Daejeon.
Anyone aged 19 and older can put in a subscription request to buy a studio apartment. They can take out a mortgage of up to 70 percent of the value of the apartment, as limited by the loan-to-value (LTV) ratio borrowing regulations.
A showhome for Hillstate Yuseong is open in nearby Yonggye-dong, also in Daejeon's Yuseong District.
The complex is near the Yuseong Hot Spring, where a large number of residential and hotel accommodations are available.
The Hyundai Motor Group construction affiliate said that the apartments are built to face south for increased sunlight exposure during the day, and its interior design is optimized for convenience of residents.
The complex is easily accessible by public transportation, mostly by subway. Commuters can use Yuseong Spa Station and Gapcheon Station ― both on Daejeon Subway Line 1.
Residents will be able to go shopping at large retail chains nearby including Homeplus and NC Department Store, as well as visit multiplexes including a Megabox cinema.
Hospitals and clinics are within walking distance. Elementary and secondary schools are nearby, as well as the country's top science educational institution, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
Other facilities under construction will improve the area in the future, the Hyundai affiliate said.
"Multiple redevelopment projects are underway in Bongmyeong-dong," the firm said in a statement. "Shopping malls, convenience stores and other facilities will be constructed soon, improving residents' satisfaction." (Advertorial)
